Learning Objectives
The students will be able to identify their different senses through discussion.
The students will explore their senses through a color by writing a poem.
The students will compose a monochromatic collage by selecting images from magazines.

Steps
Have students grab a piece of paper
Have students pick their favorite color
Write five lines about their favorite color that relate to their five senses

“_____ looks like …”
“_____ tastes like …”
“_____ sounds like …”
“_____ smells like …”
Glue their poems onto their paper
Collage an entire piece of paper using magazines only cutting out images that are their chosen color
